About
Joe Littel Design is a tool and manufacturing engineering practice specializing in dies, molds, fixtures, and special machines — from first concept through manufacturing release.
The difference is the path in. Fifteen years as a tool and die maker, then design and manufacturing engineering across shops that had to ship parts. That is why the drawings come with adjustability, complete detail, and follow-up after the file leaves the machine.
The practice works as an extension of the client’s team. Proprietary information is treated as confidential. You deal with the person doing the work.
Listen. Keep an open mind. Think the tool all the way through tryout — not just through the pretty model.
2D and 3D CAD. Progressive die design. Automation and machine design. Injection mold design where the job calls for it. Estimating, troubleshooting, and vendor communication included when the project needs it.
Provide design and engineering the metalworking shop can trust: functional, accurate, manufacturable, and maintainable — so the customer can produce parts quickly and cost-effectively.
